The Fine Print

How I research

Every page is built from sources you can check, and every source is listed.

For each product or topic, I work through the same steps:

• I read the full ingredient list, not just the front of the pack.
• I go through what users report after weeks of use, the good and the annoyed, from store reviews, forums and community threads.
• When a claim is about what an ingredient does, I look for published research. If the evidence is thin, the page says so.
• I check where you can buy it in Israel, the UAE and Saudi Arabia, and what it costs in local currency on the day.

Every claim gets a number, like [1]. The numbers match the Sources list at the end of the page, so you can read the original yourself.

The Heat check box sums up three things: which skin types a product suits, how it holds up in heat and humidity according to users, and what it costs in the region.

Reviews in The Consensus end in one of three verdicts: Buy, Maybe or Skip. They also carry a Heat-proof label: Yes, Mostly or No. Both come from the sources on the page, weighed together. They summarise what users report. They are not a lab result.

How Sunwise makes money

Some links earn Sunwise a commission. That money never decides what I recommend.

• When you buy through some links on Sunwise, the store pays Sunwise a small commission. You pay the same price.
• Pages with these links say so twice: once under the date ("Some links here earn Sunwise a commission. It never decides what I recommend.") and again just above the where-to-buy table.
• No store or brand can pay for a verdict, a place on a list or a better Heat check.
• If the best place to buy something has no commission at all, I still list it.

Editorial rules

Short answers first, a source for every claim, and no medical promises.

• Every page opens with the short answer. The detail comes after, for anyone who wants it.
• Skincare can support your skin. It does not treat skin conditions, and Sunwise never says it does. If your skin is sore, broken or getting worse, see a doctor or pharmacist.
• Prices are in local currency, with the date they were checked. Prices move, so check before you pay.
• No made-up numbers. If I can't find a figure, the page says so instead of guessing.
• Product images come from brands and stores. Sunwise does not use AI-made images of products.
• Sunwise sticks to skin, heat and shopping.

Privacy & cookies

Sunwise doesn't ask for your name or email, and doesn't run advertising trackers.

What Sunwise collects

Sunwise has no accounts, no comments, no newsletter and no sign-up forms. It does not ask you for personal information to read any page.

In plain words: there's nothing to sign up for, so there's nothing about you to keep.

Hosting

Sunwise is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the page you asked for, so it can deliver pages and block attacks. Cloudflare's own privacy policy covers that processing.

In plain words: the server sees the same technical details every website sees.

Visitor statistics

Sunwise uses Google Search Console to see how its pages show up in Google search: which searches lead here and how often pages are clicked. These figures come from Google's side, as totals. Sunwise does not add analytics scripts or tracking cookies to its pages.

Store links and their cookies

When you click a link to a store, that store or its affiliate network may set its own cookie. The cookie records that you came from Sunwise, so the commission can be paid. It is set by the store, on the store's site, under the store's privacy policy.

In plain words: the store, not Sunwise, places that cookie, and only after you click.

Fonts and files

Fonts, images and scripts on Sunwise are served from Sunwise itself, not from third-party font or ad servers.

In plain words: opening a page doesn't quietly ping other companies.

If you email me

If you write to Sunwise, your email address and message are used only to reply. They are not shared or added to any list. Emails are deleted once the conversation is finished and nothing more needs following up.

In plain words: your email stays in the inbox it was sent to.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal data is held about you and to have it corrected or deleted. Use the contact address below.

Prices, stock, delivery fees and import charges are correct on the date shown and can change without notice. Each store sets its own prices and terms and handles its own orders, delivery and returns. Sunwise does not sell anything directly.

Other websites

Sunwise links to stores, studies and other sites. Their content and policies are their own responsibility.

Text and graphics on Sunwise are © Sunwise Beauty. You are welcome to quote a short passage with a link back to the page. Product names, brand names and logos belong to their owners.

Sunwise is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, Sunwise is not liable for any loss that comes from using the site or acting on what it says.
